Information
According to Act No 123/2008. (IX.16.) by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, disposal of grape pomace is possible only under control. In regard to the placing grape pomace on land MGSZH Wine Classification Directorate is to be informed by post, fax or e-mail (2 Bem tér, Budapest 1027; Fax: 06-1-212-4978, E-mail: bormin@t-online.hu) 72 hours prior to the act.
The registration - if you lack a form - should contain the following data:
- name, address, tax number, tax store number
- place of disposal
- the estimated quantity and potential alcohol content of the by-product
- planned method and time of disposal: the act has to be registered in the wine-cellar’s book on the basis of wine a process document on the day of the act
If the grape pomace is given to a distillery accredited by MVH (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) according to Supplement 8 of Act 96/2004 FVM, a copy of the production report should be handed in to MVH by January 15th of the given wine-market year. The copy of the production report should be counter-signed by the wine-growers’ association co-ordinator.
